Crusade Time

The Crusades were a series of military campaigns launched by Western European Christians between 1095 and 1291, mainly aimed at reclaiming the Holy Land from Muslim control. The central focus was the Levant, encompassing key cities such as Jerusalem, Acre, Antioch, and Edessa, where Crusader states were established and defended. Crusaders traveled thousands of miles from Europe, often passing through Anatolia (modern Turkey) in route to the Holy Land.
